Bald Eagle flying through the hills

Tax bills have gone out and the town treasurer received three phone calls today from an upset taxpayer. The lady told our treasurer that we were harassing her because she owns land in the town but doesn't live here. She also said she would take steps to have the treasurer removed from office. It's actually rare to find a truly stupid person and I relish the chance to try and crack her shell of insipidness. I'll give her the website where she can compare her land assessment w/ her neighbors, see all of her neighbor's property tax bills, and where to find the forms to protest her assessment. Who knows - if I manage that - maybe I'll even try to give her a little Christmas spirit!
