Sunrise (barely)

Down to just one last number from the state and I can turn in my milrates calculation for the township. Have been checking my post office box on the way home from work and keeping my computer on all afternoon in case the state sends it via the post office or e-mail. This afternoon at 3 p.m. it finally came! Printed out my milrates sheet and drove immediately to the county treasurer's office. The sooner I can give her my sheet, the sooner our town's property tax bills are printed. I was #5 this year. OK, I realize that no one really wants to get a tax bill. However, if you have an onerous job to do, might as well get it done quickly. Wish Congress thought the same way.
