Hawthorn berries

One of the weekend milkers will be leaving the dairy. He graduated from high school this spring and decided to immediately get a job. However, now he wants to go to a Vocational Technical School / College (not sure which) in the January term. The reason he is quitting now is he wants a little time to "sow his wild oats". The dairy owners said they understood. I'm pretty sure I didn't sow wild oats until I was out of college. Maybe I didn't sow them even then. Not really sure I know what constitutes "sowing wild oats" and is it too late to sow them now?
