Milkweed seed
Today I milked w/ Jose. He's Maricio's cousin and was hired by the diary earlier this month. He was a real treasure to milk w/. He uses the procedures the owner's want us to do, he knows the manual cows, he disinfects the milkers of cows w/ mastitis tendencies, and he works very hard. We finished milking about an hour ahead of time. He taught me to say camele vaca to encourage the cows to come into the parlor. I looked it up on an on-line Spanish translator when I got home. I think it means that I want to seduce a cow. Maybe it's just an idiom. He also taught me tres abiertos meaning we have three fans in the parlor. Looked up that one when I got home too - abierto means "open". Think I'll need to keep on my toes w/ Jose.
