A day in the high 80's here but there was a stiff breeze and it wasn't too bad. For a walk, Indy and I visited all of the bluebird houses and removed the solar lights. After bear destroyed two houses earlier this year, my friend Kris and I placed a solar light behind each house and I had no further problems. I'm no expert on bear behavior but thought it might be best to remove the lights after the last fledglings had left so the bear didn't become too accustomed to the lights presence. Tonight, I checked the solar lights around the deck and used these as replacements for the ones that no longer worked. Next year, will buy new lights for the bird houses. Nothing but the best for the babies.
