Corn as high as an elephant's eye

Not a comment on Phil's looks - just a quote from Oklahoma!.                                                               The insurance adjuster came out to view my car. He also had recently hit a deer and had spent the day looking at cars that had hit deer. He had viewed only one car that was in a non-deer collision in over a week. He looked at the damage, took pictures, opened the hood, all while questioning me on how many deer I've seen. Turns out he leases land less than a mile from me and had been hoping to get out this way so he could set out critter cams on that property. In the fall, he will be hunting deer w/ bow and arrow there. Bow hunters are interesting to talk with. To be successful in hunting, they need to spend much of the year watching deer and therefore are in tune w/ with the interaction of flora and fauna in the area. So the insurance adjuster was in a great mood - that has to be a good thing, right?
