The Leadership Conference of Women Religious (a sort-of professional organization that represents 80% of U.S. Roman Catholic nuns) has been publicly chastised by the Pope. He feels they are focusing too much on poverty and social injustice issues and aren't vocal enough about gay marriage and abortion. So Seattle Archbishop J. Peter Sartrain has been appointed to oversee the nun's organizational programs and "help" them see the errors of their ways. Guess the Church's hierarchy feels they did such a good job of dealing w/ their pedophile priests that they now want to tackle their uppity nuns.
