Yellow Birch

As you can see from the blog picture there aren't a lot of things to take pictures of in the woods yet. The ground is still frozen under the layer of leaves from the fall. There are drifts of snow in places. However, I did see bluebirds checking out my houses. A "V" of Canadian geese went over and some red-winged blackbirds scolded me for tearing up Gorgeous Gorge (their favorite nesting place). Spring is coming - gradually.
