Sunlit fog

Long walk today. Didn't go further than normal but I stopped often looking for new stuff. Indy is used to this pace. When I stop she takes the opportunity to snoop around and check out the nearby woods. When I start walking again she goes in front of me running point on our expedition. For all of the hype about how skunk cabbage sprouts early, I've yet to see it. The tenacious cowslips are up in bunches though throughout the swamp. Maples are dripping w/ pretty yellow and pink blossoms. Also know that the bear are out and about - Indy found their calling cards.
