Lightening

I was talking w/ another library volunteer - she was very effervescent. She suddenly said, "I'm a little weird, if you haven't noticed already." It took me a half second thought before I answered, "Yes, I noticed." Her response was a broad smile. The next day I was working w/ Lisa and she said "God bless you" to a cow that had just sneezed. She looked over at me self-consciously and said, "If you haven't noticed, I'm a little weird." I knew the answer this time,  "Yes, you are."  Lisa smiled broadly. I have analyzed these responses and concluded that either everyone likes to think of themselves as person w/ unique traits -or- most of the people I know are strange. Hopefully it's the former.
