Pussy willow

Found another sign of Spring today. (No, not the pussy willows.) Indy and I took a long walk today since the weather was wonderfully warm (though there is snow in places in the swamp). Quite quiet still - not a lot of birds are back, there aren't any leaves yet to rustle in the wind, the frogs are wisely staying safe in the mud. However, if you stop and listen you can hear water everywhere - water seeping slowly into the soil, water bubbling through narrow places in sloughs, the far off roar of the creek over rushing it's shores. Not a lot of things to take pictures of yet but a fun couple of hours outside. Oh - the new sign that Spring is here? Found a tick on me when I got home.
