A Misshapen Moon

I'm reading a book called "Brain Bugs". It's a fascinating discussion on how the brain works and, because of the way it works, how it can be influenced by unrelated stimuli. For example: in Western cultures a person is described as "warm" if they are friendly. A "cold" person is aloof. An experiment where some test subjects carried a hot cup of coffee and others a cold cup up a staircase and then were introduced to a stranger showed that a significant number of the test subjects later described that person as "cold" if they had carried a cold cup and vice versa. Remember this as the presidential race heats up - you can bet both the Republicans and Democrats will be playing mind games with us.

We both do a moon picture the same day - great minds do think alike!
