GOP presidential candidates Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich have both said, if elected, they would order covert actions to "take out" Iranian nuclear scientists and then deny they had anything to do w/ it. I'm trying to figure out (1) why they would kill unarmed, non-combatant citizens of a country the U.S. is not a war with and (2) why they are publicly announcing that they fully plan on lying to us. At best they are solipsists and at worst, unfeeling psychopaths. Still, if I were those guys, I would think twice about taking on a bunch of nerdy scientists (even foreign ones).Sunday, November 13, 2011

Not presidential material! Also scary wondering what kind of people make up the audience these guys think they are targeting their speech towards. A scenic walk in the woods these days is a happier alternative.
