A picture from my friend, Greg Johnson.
This area usually gets the first covering of snow the week of deer hunting and today, as if on cue, a snowstorm began in the early afternoon. Indy and I took short walks every 2 hours so that she got some exercise. During the last foray, just after sundown, we were walking through a couple inches of snow. As we came back through the field, I thought how pretty the house looks in the dark w/ snow swirling around and a golden welcoming light emanating from the big windows. Bet all of the hunters will be glad to get inside after spending this day in the woods.
