Knapweed

Made a batch of peanut butter cookies and one of oatmeal chocolate chip tonight.  The burnt or otherwise not perfect ones are in a bowl that Brent sneaks into every so often as he takes breaks from watching the game on TV.  I put the other cookies in a Sweet Martha's container and will take them in for the milkers tomorrow.  Sweet Martha's cookies are famous at the fair and last year I bought a bucket of cookies for the work gang.   I noticed that the nice fresh cookies were mounded on top but the bottom was full of broken or not fully baked ones.  Decided to keep the container but make my own cookies to fill it this year.   It's not exactly truth-in-advertising - but in my mind I'm giving Sweet Martha a better rep than she deserves.
