Cedar Waxwing

I watched the tall grass as birds made quite a ruckus.  They were loud and flying erratically.  Finally figured out they were a flock of Cedar Waxwings.  Some were juveniles which just didn't seem to have the whole flying thing down pat yet and some were adults - staying close by but carefully avoiding the youngsters antics and cries to be fed.  Guess every parent wishes their kids would behave when they take them out to eat.

Beautiful. I love these birds - they usually fly through my area (MA) in the fall picking trees clean of berries in a matter of hours. Great shot!
