"My day license is still good," lamented Brent. I looked at him in amazement. I'd knocked on his bedroom door when I left for work at 4:15 am. He had made it back home around 4:00 pm. After spending all day fishing w/ our uncle on the Flambeau river, he wanted to go out fishing again? So we drove into the hills to Murphy Flowage. However by now the wind had picked up and the clouds looked ominous. Brent had barely gotten his line into the water when rain began to pour. He came running back to the car and decided to call it quits on fishing for the day. Once home we found that the TV was full of tornado warnings for our area. Someone, not far from where Brent had been fishing, sent in a photo of baseball sized hail. We laughed about being out in such weather. Just glad we didn't become the "catch of the day."
