Northern Goshawk

Finished the book, the "Red Queen".  It's a history of the English War of the Roses as told by Margaret Beaufort, mother of Henry VII and grandmother of Henry VIII.  Lady Margaret believes herself to be a pious woman, constantly praying but also constantly plotting.   In her mind,  "Gods Will" seems to be that she gains money, power and that her son is made king.  According to the book, she even feels she is doing God's work in ordering the death of 2 princes - ages 10 and 12.  Believing that God is on their side and therefore against their enemies seems to have a lot of parallels in current events - the Arab turmoil; Republicans vs. Democrats;  the Super Bowl ...

That sounds like a very interesting book and one I'll have to read! (I love history, especially British Royal history.)
