Another exciting town board meeting. If you haven't ever attended your local municipalities meetings, you should give it a try. True, there will be some areas of conversation that are deadly dull. For me, it's when the board begins to talk about road work. I certainly understand it's importance but when they start debating the size of culvert required, my eyes glaze over. The meeting will usually pick up later, like tonight, when a resident stepped up, threw a paper into a board member's face, and the chairman told them to sit down or he'd have them thrown out. Plus you get to meet some of your neighbors (though they aren't always on their best behavior). Over all, a great hour of entertainment.
