Pine bough

I'm reading a murder mystery that takes place in Northern Finland. Enjoy hearing the foreign sounding town & people names though not sure I could get my tongue around some of them. Can relate to the many different references to cold & snow. Things like being able to tell the temp outside by the sound the snow makes under your boot; thinking when the thermometer goes from -30F to -20F that it's finally warming up; being able to see at night because of the high albedo of snow. Tomorrow, the forecast is for a blizzard. Might be a good time to just stay home and find out "who-done-it".
