Red Tree Brain fungi (Peniophora rufa)

At least I think that's what they are. Did something to my right foot at work on Friday and it hurts to flex it. However, trekking through the back woods wasn't a problem since all that snow has so much give to it. Indy gracefully bound through drifts while I slugged along behind her. Must have taken it's toil though because she's spread out on the floor asleep in the sun right now. I need to get started on cleaning the house. Maybe I can justify sitting down in the stuffed chair and just taking a nap because of my foot? Sure.
