Cockscomb Coral mushroom

"How are you?" Your response is "Fine". People really don't ask the question to hear about how your shoulder is acting up or the operation you should have. If you aren't fine, you shouldn't be standing upright and shaking their hand. I sat near my uncle in church this morning and could hear people asking him, "How are you?" My uncle, who received a new heart valve last month and who went back to the hospital for elevated pulse this month, answered "Fine". My aunt, who just went to the hospital for high blood pressure, wasn't in church but you can bet when she is well enough to return, her answer to that same question will be "Fine."

Michael's favorite response to "How are you?" is, "Better than I deserve!" (Throws people off track for half a second and makes them think.)
