Maximilian's Sunflower (Helianthus Maximilianii)

The "heat index" is 97. I don't know what that means. Think it must be something like "wind chill". A long time ago, weathermen reported temperature, wind velocity, humidity, things like that. Assume that got to be too ho-hum and the meteorologists got together to make up new terms to - kinda liven things up. I do know that it's been hot and humid this week. While I can make up my own terms to describe the heat: " a second shower day," "a 3-fan day at the dairy," or "a t-shirt soaking day;" bet I can come up w/ even better terms to describe the cold this winter.

Be glad your 'heat index' is only 97. Michael's family has been suffering brutal heat indexes of 115+ in Memphis. (actual temp plus humidity)
