Silver-bordered Fritillary (Boloria selene)

The goldfinches were chastising me for not keeping their feeders full of sunflower seeds. I went out to fill them and a hummingbird hovered in front of my face stating that their feeders were dry too. Checked in to see how Aunt June was doing after her fall. She was asleep but her bruises are a light green now and told me she is on the mend. When I got home, Indy put her muzzle on my knee and looked up at me w/ those chocolate eyes. She obviously was asking if we would be going soon on our daily walk. I didn't talk until I was four years old. More days like today and I will wonder why I ever felt a need to start.
