Common Yellowthroat

In the 20's & 30's, the terrorist organization, the KKK, came to the Northwoods. Since there weren't a lot of blacks here then, they railed more against the Jews, Catholics, and immigrants. Their propaganda stressed patriotism, Christianity, and the family. At rallies they played "The Fiery Cross" to the tune of "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Onward Valiant Clansman" to the tune of "Onward Christian Soldiers" (creepy). However, recruiting turned out to be problematic. Among other things, it's just not feasible to hold outside meetings w/ a burning cross in the winter time here.
