Meadowlark

Indy and I walked through the fields today and it was very noisy. This meadowlark was quite upset we were near his nest and sounded decidedly un-lark like. We were scolded by bobolinks, red-winged blackbirds, and birds I didn't even know. Did a check of the bird houses and there are small, featherless, moving blobs where the eggs used to be in the bluebird and tree swallow nests. All of the birds are probably hatching their first broods. Guess the parents weren't happy w/ us waking up the kids.
