Pink Lady Slipper orchid

Uncle Rodney & Aunt Ruth are back in the Northwoods and were at church this morning. They invited us back to their place for lunch but Aunt Ruth said she didn't have much to eat. So we first bopped over to Subway, picked up subs, and brought them over to their house.
The river is up so even if the fishing hasn't been very good so far, Uncle Rodney is happy. Aunt Ruth has so much rhubarb in her garden that she brought 3 bags of the stuff into church to give away. All is well in their world.

I will take any leftover rhubarb. I haven't found anyone wanting to give it away in Madison. Usually not a problem. It may be too early yet. Strawberry rhubarb pies and strawberry rhubarb jam are my favorites to make. Is the pink lady slipper orchid from around the farm?

Yes, found Pink Lady Slippers blooming in the peat bog a couple of years ago.
