Ate out at the Chinese buffet w/ the dairy staff last night. We made our goal for lowering our somatic cell count (SCC) in February. Carol, the diary owner, passed around a plaque the farm received for the area's 8th best SCC count for 2009. I sat by Mike, Becca, and Lisa - not a one of them over 20. Which was OK until Becca was relating how, when she was a grocery cashier, she was scared of old people. "Not old like you," she said looking at me.
