Surprise! I wasn't expecting it but found this little flower blooming in the woods today. I checked and it's at least a month ahead of the first flower I've found for the last couple of years. Heard Sand Hill Cranes and saw Robins today too. There is still ice in some of the ponds and deep in the swamps the ground is still frozen. However, the forecast is for temps in the 70's by Wednesday. This global warming stuff is OK (just kidding).
