Bull Thistle

The low pressure idiot light came on when I left to pick up Friend Nancy for breakfast.  I stopped and visually checked the tires.  Seemed OK.   Car didn't pull either way.  Too early for the village mechanic's shop to be open.  Decided to pick up Nancy anyway.  When I told her the car's issue and I didn't want to try filling the tires up since Neighbor Doug had blown up a tire that way, she gave me a quick look of derision.  "I'll teach you to put air in your tires."  she said.  Kwik Trip's air compressor was automated - not like the ones I'd tried to use in the past.  I only had to key in the psi (pounds per square inch)  that are listed on the driver's side door jamb and the machine automatically beeped when that was reached.  Couldn't be simpler.  All of the tires needed some air so the problem might be the effect of cooler weather.  Anyway, everything worked out great.  The low pressure indicator is no longer on, I learned a new skill,  and Nancy has bragging rights.
