Highbush Cranberry

Early this morning I bopped downtown for an appointment to get my hair cut.  Before I did that though, I made sure I had washed a load of clothes and hung them out on the line to dry.  I've been dong two loads of wash a day since I got back from the Fair.  For me, it's been a kind of washing 'perfect storm'.    There are the usual things that need washing, there are the towels and bedding of my two guests, and there is the house's seasonal change requiring summer things to be washed before packing them away.  Since I and Brent were sick w/ colds, I decided not only sheets and pillow cases but blankets, spreads, and mattress covers all had to be washed too.  Then there are the rugs in the kitchen, in the foyer, by the back door, on the window seats, and in the bedroom that should be washed separately.  I'm pretty fortunate that this last week has been low humidity and mainly sunny so both loads can be hung out on the clothesline to dry.  I'm not done washing yet - might take another week and a trip down to the max-sized washers in the laundromat for the bedspreads.  After all 'Godliness is next to Cleanliness' (or is that vice versa?)
