That time of year to tie up loose ends. I sat down at the computer and made my yearly donations to organizations I support. Wish they could figure out that there is no need to keep begging for more money during the year but I'm sure even the thank you's I'll receive will include a request for additional funds. I made out a check for my checkup at the clinic from last January. I only received the bill this month. It's this way every year - don't know why it takes them so long to bill me. I called up Winco. They had fixed the A/C in Mjolnir last spring but never billed me. I've called them a couple of times during the year and left messages but no response. This call though I got a real person who let me know the cost of a service call. Not sure if that is the total cost of what I owe but this was my last try at getting a bill so I'll send that amount off w/ a hand-written note of what it's for. The last thing on my list is to send out thank you notes. That will be the fun way to end up the year.
