I had big plans for Christmas Day. I was going to take ornaments off the tree - that will need to wait until tomorrow morning. I was going to watch an Inspector Alleyn murder mystery. I'd found them all on Roku somewhere and after watching two episodes had held off watching the rest so I could savor them Christmas Day. It took three episodes but finally I was able to stay awake through an entire show. I don't know why I kept falling asleep. I only ate Christmas cookies and drank cocoa all day. Should have been flying high on sugar. Was also going to wash and put away the Christmas dishes. Did manage to hand wash them all but putting them back in the hutch will be another 'tomorrow morning' task. Mostly the cats played w/ the dog's new toys while the dog laid on the couch w/ her head in my lap. I talked w/ family on the phone - four of which said they were still in their 'jammies'. (Grateful they weren't video calls.) I was going to break open a jigsaw and get a head start on my winter 'puzzle mania'. That will have to wait too. All in all, a totally excellent Christmas!
