Shadow Box

The shadow box has been changed to reflect autumn.

- Halloween is overly represented w/ two black cats atop pumpkins, a frog, an owl, a witch, a scarecrow, and ghost.

- Thanksgiving is the two pilgrims and the Native American beaded bracelet, pot, and doll.

- Octoberfest are the German pair on the bottom.

- Back to school is the bottle of milk, paper bag lunch, and apple.

- Migration to warmer climes is the mallard duck.

- Harvest is the crate of fruit and a pumpkin.

- Leaf peeping is the colored maple leaves and other flora changes such as mushrooms, red berries, dandelion gone to seed, frosted acorn, and pinecone.

- Fauna activity include squirrels representing all of the animals that fill up their food stashes, mice represent those animals looking for new warmer digs, and the fox those mammals growing out a thicker coat of hair.

Not precisely sure why I included the Amish lady w/ the baby.  Either I liked the way she looked w/ everything else or I needed something to fill a square.

Nice Fall display! We are still in the upper 90's in TX but supposed to cool into the 80's this week.
