I'd left the Homeless Shelter's fundraiser early. Neighbor Anita gave me a call Sunday afternoon letting me know I had won one of the raffle baskets. She had brought it back w/ her and I could come over to pick it up whenever I had time. Turned out it was the basket that Anita herself had put together. She called it a Readers/Writers Special: a book, a journal and pen, a Fire tablet, a cup w/ different cocoa mixes, and a comfy throw. So glad this is the basket I won. The other baskets I had put tickets in all contained collections of cheeses and a bottle of wine. Would have had to figure out someone I knew that liked wine.
