Snow Moon

Excerpts from the Sheriff's Report:

7:33 a.m. - Caller reported a bar fight after the football game on Saturday night. The tavern owner started it.

8:08 a.m. - Student driver was legally parked in school lot and standing at the open driver side rear door.  Another student pulled into the adjacent parking stall with the driver checking his passenger-side mirror ito avoid hitting another legally parked vehicle to his right.  The front cattle guard of his pick-up truck struck the open car door with the student standing in the opening retrieving something from the backseat.  The student reported minor injuries but denied medical attention.  The student who was driving doesn't have a valid driver's license, has no auto insurance and the license plates are expired and belong to the prior owner of the vehicle.

9:11 a.m. - Woman outside of store yelling at employee.  The woman was upset about being followed by cameras in the store and wanted to be left alone.  Store advised to call law enforcement if the woman returns and causes issues.

1:55 p.m. - Caller did not make much sense but said there was a woman outside his home and someone wrote on the building.  He went to the hospital but didn't believe they were doctors and his life was being live-streamed.

2:07 p.m. - Caller advised she needs help.  She used Google Map and this is probably where she is.  Officer and EMS sent.  Transported her by ambulance.  County services contacted.

2:37 p.m. - Man sitting outside in boxers and nothing else.  The bartender had asked man to leave.  When he finally did, he took off all his clothes.  He's been yelling at other patrons leaving the bar.  Officers found the man appearing heavily intoxicated, bloody nose, and minus most of his clothing.  Officers assisted man with getting his clothes back on and he agreed to be taken to hospital for treatment.

5:04 p.m. - Report of two ATVs tearing up their own yard and throwing mud at the neighbor's house and in street.  Officers informed woman of the complaint.  She walked with officers and observed the mud on the side of the house.  She said she was unaware of this and had her son and friend clean the side of the house.  Report of ATVs being loud until late hours and juveniles operating on roadway.  Woman contacted again and she said she was unaware of this and would take care of it.  Officers said tickets would be issued if the juveniles rode ATVs in the street without valid licenses or helmets again.

7:08 p.m. - Report of a woman sitting on the fog line along highway.  Officer spoke with woman who said she had found this spot to sit and drink.  She was told to move along.

9:23 p.m. - Driver pulled over to brush his teeth.
