Happy Lunar New Year
Lunar New Year is a holiday which begins with the second new moon after the winter solstice. That means it's celebrated every year sometime between January 21 to February 20th depending on the moon. (Hence the 'lunar' in the name.) This is the Year of the Dragon - which happens to be my Chinese zodiac sign. The people born in the Year of the Dragon, as a group, supposedly are energetic, creative, adventurous, and have a strong sense of justice. This is a pic of my personal dragon purchased in a little Collegetown store. It's tagged along w/ me during my various moves and is a reminder of all of those good attributes Chinese astrology say I 'm supposed to be. It also reminded me that I should celebrate the day - had lunch at a Chinese restaurant. Think I'll celebrate again next week!
