Christmas sweatshirt

Finished my latest audio book.   It would make an excellent choice for a book club discussion - not necessarily for the writing but for it's ethical questions.  I had more books waiting for me at the library.  Planned on picking them up when I went in for tonight's shift.  Instead this morning's first stop was the library so I'd have something to listen to while I drove around on errands.  Volunteer Bev was on duty wearing a sweatshirt emblazoned with puppies in Santa hats.  At the end of each hat an actual bell was sewn on her shirt so she kinda jingled when she moved.  She showed me a picture of the sweatshirt she'd worn to the library earlier in the week which had a gold garland swirling around it and little Christmas lights.  Bev said I should wear a Christmas sweatshirt when I came on duty later.  Once back home I dug around in the closet to locate some sweatshirts I haven't worn since I discovered the joys of cashmere.   Wore this one tonight and the people coming in to pick up books thought it was funny.  Will suggest at our next volunteer meeting that the week before Christmas all volunteers wear Christmas sweatshirts/sweaters (if they have them) while working at the library.  The public will love it and bet we could even figure out a way to make it a team-building activity!  (Ooh - shades of Honeywell.)
