8:17 a.m. - Caller reporting the priest is parked in and has to get to mass. Owner contacted and will move vehicle shortly.
8:34 a.m. - Someone left a chair in the middle of his driveway. It appears to be an older recliner used in hospitals or nursing homes. No identification to reveal where it might have come from. Officer told the caller if no one claims it he could keep it.
10:26 a.m. - Caller reported a party of hunters and it appeared like one pointed a gun at a passing car while another laughed. Officer checked area and could not locate anyone matching the description.
11:00 a.m. - Mother and son arguing over her repeatedly telling him to do the dishes. The son went to the father's house to cool off. All parties told to call back if further assistance is needed.
2:39 p.m. - Caller reported a line of hunters getting ready to walk through his property without permission.
3:02 p.m. - Deer stand put up on neighbor's land. Land owner wants it removed. So half was taken down. When they came back to get the other half the stand was gone. The parties tried to negotiate but landowner told him to call the sheriff to get the stand back. Landowner requested a written apology or would seek trespassing charges. Deer stand owner requested theft charges against landowner. After more negotiations the deer stand owner offered to write a letter of apology. Nothing further at this time.
4:45 p.m. - Caller reported seeing buck shot from roadway. Plate provided. Turned over to DNR.
7:05 p.m. - 911 caller plowing a driveway advised man came out and punched his truck then pushed his own wife. Warrant was confirmed. Man taken to jail.
11:13 p.m. - Officer requested another unit due to multiple people in the area. The investigation showed one woman was brought to town by another person and was staying at her sister's residence. The woman couldn't stay there any longer and went to another person's residence. The person at that residence said the woman couldn't stay there due to her drinking and possible drug use. Two individuals offered to drive the woman to another residence outside the city or to the Shelter. The woman accepted the ride and they left.
12:54 a.m. - Caller with recent law enforcement contact this evening reported she was dropped off by storage units at Oil Company. She was told to call friends or family for a ride. She said she would stay where she is for the night then call the Shelter in the morning. Caller is crying and intoxicated. Caller called dispatch again continuing to talk but not making sense. Deputy on the way to assist. Woman has a place to go but doesn't want to go there. Officer explained about making good choices.
