I needed a shot in the arm. Actually wanted a shot in each arm. I'd called the clinic for the last two weeks and each time they said they didn't have any flu or Covid shots and to try next week. Today they not only had the shots but an appointment open for 11:30. Grabbed a shower, some fresh clothes, and drove over to the County Seat. The clinic had moved and this was my first time in the new building. Spent a little time gawking. The architect went for spacious. Perhaps it just seemed that way because the old clinic had become a bit of a rabbit warren with add-ons and upgrades. The waiting room has tall windows and a TV tuned to something other than the weather channel. I didn't have a lot of time to enjoy it. A nurse called my name and I was on my way out in less than 5 minutes. The nurse didn't have to walk me back out to the waiting room - found it easily on my own. Was going to take it easy this afternoon and watch a movie but there were some things that needed to get done. Maybe getting two shots on the same day justifies going to bed early tonight.
