Pileated Woodpecker eating my grapes

I made another batch of hummingbird fluid.  Like I said, the rule of thumb is to wait two weeks after seeing your last hummer before taking feeders down.  Haven't seen one since Tuesday just before the last cold snap came through.   However, there was one at a feeder yesterday afternoon.  Maybe passing through and needed a rest stop before continuing on south.  Figured the hummingbird fluid is getting low and older so just in case there are more, I'll ensure they get a good meal.  Worked on my KPA list - 'Keep Phil Amused'.  He dropped Sheila off in the Big City to catch a plane to Greece.  She's taking a tour w/ some gal pals while he's remaining here.  He does have things to do - work on the room divider he and Brent started this summer, bike rides, watching Packer games, etc.  I've just made a list I can grab should he want something else to do.   For example, when he reaches a stopping point today, I'll ask him to help move the concrete slab on the sewer system so I can clean the filter.  Exciting stuff!
