Down the Path to Autumn

More items off the KPA list today.  Phil figured out how to get the TV set in the living room to recognize the DVD player (had to call it a component and give it a name).  I've ordered DVD's from the library on Civil War Battlefields and Mary Berry's Ultimate Christmas.  Wanted the player working before they arrive.  Then went to drop off recyclables.  We finished just as a truck towing a new recyclable bin came into the yard so watched as it was rolled off the platform and gently lowered into place.  The truck driver got out of his truck to check the old bin before taking it out and noticed us watching.  Phil lowered the car window and said, "We are easily amused."  The guy laughed.   Found a replacement for the outside overhead can lights by the front door.   Also picked up hangers for my kites and for the Jewel Christmas Tree.    I freely admit that I'm horrible at hanging things so unless I absolutely have to do it I leave that task to others.   Picked up a few other things and then it was time to go home. First got hamburgers at Culver's on the way out of town.  Pulled in at a little park at the outskirts of town and overlooking the lake to eat them.  Drove the back way home through the hills and changing leaves.
