Banded Tussock Moth Caterpillar

Pretty easy to keep Phil amused today.  It was a rainy/drizzling day that never made it far into the 60's.  He finished as much as he could on the divider unit.  He started watching the Packer's game.  Gave up on them at half time as a lost cause.  Came over to Haven and fell asleep on the couch.  I put some throw blankets over him.  Don't think his blood has acclimated to our cooler temps here and I haven't yet turned on the heat in the house.  Considered starting a fire in the fireplace but instead did some baking.  Made little quiches in a muffin pan.  Then homemade granola in the oven.  Checked on the Packer game and found that they had won!   Finished up w/ no-bake cookies.  That Phil woke up for.  House was a bit warmer now from all of the cooking/baking.  Made a casserole but after the allotted time in the oven, it still looked pretty goopy.  Switched off the oven and instead made my version of  'bangers and mash' - weiners and mashed potatoes.  Included a bowl of corn for color.  After cleaning up, I checked on the casserole.   Sitting in a warm oven actually did it wonders and it's lost it's 'goopiness'.  I'll save it for tomorrow's lunch.
