Phil, Sheila, and Whip in Jormungandr

Brent left for home this morning loaded down w/ berries that he picked, swiss cheese and bologne sandwiches which he said were his favs, and no-bake cookies from Mom's recipe.  Phil came over later in the morning and asked if I wanted to go out w/ Sheila and him for lunch at Katie's.  "Sure," I replied.  (Yes, I know the restaurant downtown hasn't been known as "Katie's" for many years however it was a snappy name for a diner and maybe they should consider changing it back.)  We stopped there around noon only to find a sign on the door stating they were closed today due to lack of staff.  Decided to try a new restaurant in Lumbertown which is only about ten miles away.  When we got there a sign outside stated they were closed on Tuesday & Wednesdays.  Small towns can be like that.  Walked up the street to the local bar.  They were open and had burgers.  Actually they had excellant burgers along w/ great fries.  Can't say I'm a fan of most bar ambiances but good food is good food.
