Bird's Foot Trefoil

I have two large black and white quilts.  One is folded at the end of my bed during the cold winter months and the other kept on the spare bedroom's bed for three out of the four seasons.  At the beginning of June it was getting rather warm.  I had washed and packed away my beloved electric blanket.  Finally swapped out the flannel sheets for the cool microfiber ones.  Then as if on cue the nights turned cooler again and last night I had both cats snuggling up next to me in bed.  It is time, however, to pack away those quilts but first they need to be washed.  They are too large for my washing machine so it was down to the laundromat in town for their large capacity washers.  Turns out Monday actually is wash day for many people since the place was busy.  Not a problem, I went grocery shopping (Musak was playing The Shadow of Your Smile so I sang along), picked up mail, dropped off a book at the library, bought a latte, and it was back to the laundromat.  Only three people remained and the large capacity washers were open.  As I sat waiting for my wash to finish I wondered what is laundromat protocol.  I don't visit them enough to pick up on it.  Figured you don't touch anyone else's clothes no matter what.  I shouldn't set my latte down on the folding table.  Don't watch people fold their unmentionables.
