I was fine until I stood up after breakfast. My bad knee wouldn't bend w/o pain. Blast! My plan for the day was to drive into the Big City to wish Cousin Nancy a great 80th birthday. I got on-line to see if there were any suggestions on how to relieve the pain. Besides exercises, the only suggestion was rest. I figured 2 hours in the car and 2 hours back would be restful so I threw my walking stick into the car w/ me and took off. Once I got there and out of the car my knee was feeling much better. Nice turnout for the party including cousins Shirley and Steve, their daughter Rachel (who begins a new job tomorrow), the woman of the hour Nancy, and her daughter Cyndi (who shares her Mom's effervescent personality.) Oh yeah, and Nancy has started a new vocation - Stand Up Comic - honest!
