Gorgeous Gorge - March

Checked in at the hospital for my annual mammogram.  It was before 8 a.m. so assume I was the first of the day.  Have been through this routine enough to know what you shouldn't wear, what questions will be asked, where to stand.  The whole procedure took maybe 10 minutes tops.  Still doesn't make me feel better when I leave.  The technician had commented how most women go shopping or out to eat after this procedure.   I stopped on my way home to pick up a chocolate donut and latte.  Got back into the car, turned it on, and the notice Access Fob Battery Low flashed for a moment.  It's in the same area on the dashboard where the Access Fob Detected display is usually.  I could have easily missed the change in message.  Wonder how long it's been doing that?  Drove home and found my other fob.  It was completely dead.  Could have looked through the manuals that came w/ the car but, as I noted yesterday, it's easier to find instructions on YouTube.  Yes, there was a video of hands and a voice walking me through how to change out a fob battery.  Of course, I don't have the specified CR2032 battery sitting around the house so got back in the car, drove back to an auto parts store next to the hospital where I'd just been.  Told the clerk what kind of battery I wanted and, oh, by the way, would he change it out for me?   I'm not above playing the 'helpless woman card' on occasion.   He picked up the fob, flicked open his jack knife, said he wasn't familiar w/ this type but he'd give it a try.  I grabbed my fob, thanked him anyway,  and said I'd figure it out on my own.  Once home, easily changed out the batteries in both fobs.  Then I sat back and considered:  Do you suppose a clerk at an auto parts store really didn't know how to change out a battery in a car fob -or- was he playing the 'helpless man card' on me?
