You know how you plan out your week ahead of time. You've got the daily stuff and the weekly stuff and then the extras that you've probably written down on the calendar or on a note to remember. That's the plan anyway and then stuff happens. I'd planned on going into town on Monday, but not today until I got a note that there was a package waiting for me. (The Post Office has adopted new rules about how long they will hold packages so I try to pick them up as soon as possible.) Then I got a text that the clinic expected me for labs on Thursday. That was suppose to happen next week but maybe their schedules got messed up too so I responded I would be there. Labs go quick so should be home in time for the Volunteers meeting in the afternoon. Then my phone died. Will have to make a trip back into town tomorrow to either get it fixed or get another. There is a level of comfort in making a plan. A little unknown, however, adds some excitement to the norm.
Variety is the spice of life as the saying goes.
