Snow Flocked Tree

After the morning constitutional w/ Whip, I sit down at the computer to look at the Jacquie Lawson on-line Advent Calendar.  There is an elf to find hiding in the scene, a present to open under the tree, and little games to play.  The level of detail is exquisite: the clock in the church tells the correct local time, the scene brightens around the time of sunrise and darkens around sunset.  Even the moon is in the correct phase (though tonight the full moon is shining at the same time it's snowing).  The calendar also pointed out an interesting phenomena in short-term memory.  One of the games is a match game: two sets of cards w/ the gifts of the 12 days of Christmas are laid out, face down, on a table.  The game is to pick up a card and try to remember where it's matching card is.  It's all short-term (a/k/a working) memory for me except for the 8 Maids A-Milking card.  I can remember where that card is on the table w/o trying.  Have always had an affinity for the Milking Maids: they are the hardest working of the bunch, get paid the least (according to PNC). and I worked in the profession for awhile.  I'm not sure what causes this memory advantage.  I've tried to apply it to some of the other cards but w/ no luck.
