Making snow on the ski hill

A pretty day.  On the morning constitutional there was a full moon and the ski hill was furiously making snow.  I thought the season had already begun but their public opening for business is officially tomorrow.  Yesterday Mother Nature had helped them out a little by adding a few more inches of snow.  Back inside I watched a big eight (at least) point buck pick his way across the meadow toward the wood.  Besides making everything sparkle and look clean, the new snowfall had also created a fresh canvas for tracking.  Checked under the bird feeders.  Yes, some deer had come in to brunch on the bird's sunflower seed and cracked corn.  It might be the buck but that would surprise me.  He's savvy enough to have survived the last three months of hunting season but he's still got a month to go.  He's not messing around that near to people.  It's probably a doe (and maybe this year's fawn) looking for an easy meal.
